OUR VERDICT: Having tried for some time to book a table at this Winchester eaterie, converted from an old pub, Nicola Cunningham finally got there, but was it worth the wait?
Excellent menu with interesting combinations informally served in relaxed surroundings, even if you can overhear neighbours’ conversations
